What To Expect At Your First Visit
General Information
Bourbon Veterinary Hospital is fully handicapped accessible.

For the safety of your pet and our other patients, please bring all pets on a leash or in a carrier. Our clinic is located on IN-331 and is just south of US-30, both of which are highly traveled highways. Additionally, many pets (and even people) are not comfortable with other animals, even if your pet is well-behaved.

​If you have medical records for your pet from a previous veterinarian, shelter, breeder, or previous owner, please bring these records with you. Alternatively, you can have the records emailed to us at bourbonvet@gmail.com.

Your Pet's Appointment
During your pet's first appointment we will ask questions about your pet's health history, including:

General behavior

Previous veterinary care, including health conditions, medications, vaccinations, parasite control, surgeries, etc.

Current health concerns
