The Bourbon Veterinary Hospital maintains a well-stocked pharmacy for both companion animals as well as production animals. Our pharmacy includes therapeutic medications, flea, tick, and heartworm preventatives, vaccines, dewormers, some production animal management equipment, prescription and over-the-counter dog and cat foods, and nutritional supplements.
We also have an online pharmacy that carries additional products for dogs, cats, and horses which we may not stock at the clinic. Products purchased from the online pharmacy may be eligible for free shipping, particularly if you select the autoship option. The autoship option allows for scheduled shipments of your pet’s needed medications and will automatically qualify for free shipping on most products. If your pet requires a prescription medication, please allow one business day for the prescription to be approved by the veterinarian. Any prescription medication or pet food requires a veterinary-client-patient-relationship (VCPR). This means that a veterinarian must examine your animal and have knowledge of its well-being on a routine basis before medications can be prescribed.
