The following recommendations are considered to be a general recommendation but may not be a complete protocol for the diseases present on your farm. All vaccine protocols should be tailored to the needs of your animals and should be made after consulting with a veterinarian.

Lambs/Kids

Clostridium CD & Tetanus

Lambs/kids from vaccinated ewes/does

Initial Vaccine at 4-6 weeks old

Booster vaccine 3-4 weeks later

Lambs/kids from unvaccinated ewes/does

Initial Vaccine 1-3 weeks old

Booster vaccine twice at 3-4 week intervals

Ewes/Does

Clostridium CD & Tetanus

Annual vaccine 30-45 days prior to lambing/kidding

Rams/Bucks

Clostridium CD & Tetanus

Annual vaccine
